Ava Brockman stands atop the leaderboard, Isaac McDermott is in second, Atalissa Bloyd in third, and Liam Peitscher is in 4th place. However, Ava, Isaac, and Atalissa have picked the Whale, and only Liam has picked the Croc. Tonight will determine the champion and our overall BHS Champ for 2026. Good luck, competitors!

Upcoming events/deadlines:
Need to de-stress from finals? Come try out the Library MINI mini golf course! It will be open all day on Tuesday and Wednesday (7:50-12:45).
Time Restrictions:
Before/After School: All are welcome with no restrictions before and after school.
During class: You must have your final and all other work turned in, along with permission and a MiNGA pass from your teacher.
During pride: You can only come during Pride if you are signed up under Ms. Mitola.
During Lunch: Upperclassmen only
During passing: You can visit, but cannot start the course during passing time, as you will not have enough time to complete it.
The estimated time to complete the 6-hole course is:
1 player: 10-15 minutes
2 players: 15-20 minutes
3 players: 20-25 minutes
4 players (max group size): 25-30 minutes
We will have score sheets available and will keep a leaderboard. The 5 best scores (will only record first try) of the week will receive a free experience card from Malibu Jacks 

The class of 2026 is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for Senior Prom! Come to Freddy's on April 17th from 11-2 to help, and don't forget to say you're from Bettendorf High School!
Early grad sign-out sheets must be signed and turned in by the end of the day TODAY, Wednesday, April 1st in order to graduate at the end of 3rd quarter. Thank you.
To all students who have completed a welding course at BHS. There will be two welding contests coming up. EICC will be holding a competition on May 20th. BHS will be holding a competition on April 30th during the school day, with 2 spots available. Mr. Milburn will hold a pride and a mini competition for these 2 spots. Please contact Mr. Milburn for more details.
Seal of Biliteracy Students: If you have already turned in your money for the Spring Seal of Biliteracy Testing, you can begin testing this Thursday and Friday during Pride. Please sign up for Frau Law's Pride to begin your test. If you have not brought in your $25 for the test yet, you have until April 1st to do so.
The Cultural Diversity Club is hosting a scavenger hunt! We are celebrating Women's History and Black History Month. It ends at 3:30 TODAY. You can scan the QR code from any poster in the building or the photo below and search for clues. Entries with all correct answers will be entered into a drawing for Iconic Gift Cards!

Have you ever wanted to go to a Historical Black College or University? Then we have the trip for you. The QC HBCU Initiative is sponsoring a trip to Chicago State University to the Chicago Black College Expo on Saturday, April 4th. This college fair will have over 50 Historical Black colleges/university representatives. Seniors can be accepted into a college and/or receive a scholarship at this conference. The priority for this trip is juniors and seniors, freshman and sophomores that would like to go will have to bring a parent/guardian. Cost is $30 to go, but space is limited. This is available to all students throughout the Quad Cities. Please contact Mrs. Ayola Vesey at inspirenext22@gmail.com to reserve a seat on the bus.
